Who runs this site
Proprietor's Guide is run by Erik Cooper of Vectis Studio. It exists to give small-business owners plain, dated, sourced answers about what AI agents can and can't do with the software they already use.
Disclosure: we build Muse connectors
Erik Cooper and Vectis Studio build connectors for Muse, Meta's agent. One of them, Paper Owl Fax, has been submitted to Meta and is in Meta's review. Meta has not made a decision on it.
Erik Cooper also builds and sells Pocket Jacket (getpocketjacket.com) through Vectis Studio. It's a shop form and maintenance records product for small fleets: a phone form, records filed to the fleet's own Google Drive, and due-date reminders. Pocket Jacket isn't a Muse connector and isn't in any Meta review.
How we handle this:
- If a page mentions a connector or product we built, the page says so next to the mention.
- Our own connectors and products are held to the same sourcing and labeling rules as everyone else's. See Methodology.
Independence
Proprietor's Guide is independent and not affiliated with Meta. Muse is a Meta product.
